Toby Reid, entrepreneur and business development expert, has been appointed Director of BioCity Nottingham to oversee the operational management and ongoing development of the growing bioscience business incubator. He assumed the post on 3rd October 2011 and is responsible for the day-to-day running of the business which supports life science firms to turn ideas into commercial ventures.

Wellcome Trust and investors back development of new surgical haemostat
Haemostatix Ltd, a biopharmaceutical company, announced today that it has received a £409,000 Translation Award from the Wellcome Trust to support development of its innovative haemostat technology.
